How it works, step by step
Here is exactly what happens from the moment you describe your task to the moment you pay, and what protects you at every point.
-
Describe your task
Say what you need in your own words. It can be a question, a review before you launch, a bug, a security check or a new feature. You don't need technical language or an account: confirm your email with a code and your task goes live. Add screenshots or a link if you have them.
-
A verified developer claims it
Every developer is reviewed and approved by hand before they can take a task. The first one who is free claims your task and proposes a time for a call. You confirm the time, or decline it for free and another developer can claim it. If nobody has claimed it yet, it stays open and we remind you. You can cancel it at any time.
-
The free 15-minute call
You get a Google Meet link and an email reminder 60 minutes before the call. On the call the developer works out what you need, you agree how you will work together, and you can talk about the price. The call is free because it is short, and it is the developer's chance to show what they can do. No card is asked for.
-
Sorted on the call, or one fixed price
Many tasks are sorted during the call: you confirm it worked, and you can leave an optional thank-you. For bigger work, the developer proposes one fixed price for the result, never an hourly rate. You can accept it or say no, and saying no costs nothing. The price stays until you answer. If you would rather ask someone else, you can.
-
You accept, the developer delivers
When you accept the price, your card is saved. It is not charged yet. The developer then has 3 days to deliver. If the deadline is missed, the task reopens for other developers, your saved card is released and you pay nothing.
-
You review and approve
You look at the result and approve it, or tell the developer in the chat what is not right. If you can't agree, report a problem: an admin reviews it and aims to decide within 3 days, and you are not charged while it is open. If you don't answer a delivery at all, it is approved automatically after 2 days, and we email you a warning a day before.
-
You pay, the developer is paid
Only after you approve is your saved card charged. A platform fee of 10% is added to the developer's price, and you see the total before you accept. The developer receives the full price they named, paid out through Stripe.
What protects you
- The call is free and needs no card.
- The price is agreed before any work starts. It is fixed, never hourly.
- You are charged only after you approve the result.
- A missed deadline means the task reopens and nothing is charged.
- A problem you report is decided by an admin, and nothing is charged while it is open.
- Every developer is manually reviewed and approved.
- Nobody here will ever ask for your passwords.
What you can ask for
Anything about an app built with AI: a question, a review before launch, a bug, a security check or a new feature. We work with apps built in Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf and Base44. Not sure what is wrong? Try the free diagnostic or browse the step-by-step guides. For a security review, see security reviews for AI-built apps.
For developers
Apply with your GitHub account. We review every application by hand. Once you are approved you can claim tasks from clients, take the free call, set a fixed price for the work and get paid through Stripe. Join as a developer →
